CRUNK MONKS
CRUNK MONKS
They’re back! Methow Valley’s own Crunk Monks return after blowing everyone away with their debut performance last summer. This high-energy funk rock band has quickly become a local favorite, known for deep grooves, tight musicianship, and instrumental jams that take audiences on a true musical journey.
Rooted in funk but drawing from rock, jazz, and improvisational jam traditions, the Crunk Monks deliver the kind of set that keeps the dance floor moving and the beer garden buzzing. Every music scene needs that one band that brings the party—and in the Methow Valley, the Crunk Monks are exactly that.
The band features Dylan Marks on guitar, Jason Miller on keys, Matt Pratt on bass, Will Menzies on drums and a couple of supporting musicians who may drop in along the way.
Look for them to rock the beer garden again on Sunday evening.
“This band, the Crunk Monks, are the S#*! The Methow Valley’s best! I’m so glad they’re gonna be on the big Blues Fest stage! There’s a lot of musicians and bands here in the Methow, and we hear music at multiple venues most nights of the week. But these guys are always at the top of our lists. If you dig jammin’ deep funky jazzy grooves—you’ll love ‘em like we do.”
— Don Ashford, GM & Music Dir., KTRT “The Root” 97.5
“Sunday-Funkday! The Crunk Monks are a must-see high-energy funk-bass’ed & groovy jam band whose strong instrumental improvisation and tight melodic arrangements create a vibe that brings the dance floor alive! Be ready to embark on this musical journey infused with hypnotic polyrhythmic percussion, a little hip-hop, a bit of go-go, and a whole lot of funk!”

“Booking ‘top shelf’ music around the Pacific and Inland Northwest, it’s hard to catch all the shows. One act we don’t miss is the Methow Valley’s very own Crunk Monks, who we describe as a high-octane, funky jam band guaranteed to move your feet and soul.”
